A great episode again!
I’m very happy that you enjoyed my reading so much. It is some kind of translation. I couldn’t find an English version, but several German ones, so it’s more a renarration in English.
Thanks to Barry for his Bensonhurst submission. It enriches “my collection of NY sounds” (till today the only sound related to NY is the sound of the emercency cars).
Many thanks for a fantastic time – it’s always a pleasure for me to listen to your discussions!
Many thanks.
Your reading was fantastic, it had us all spellbound. Please feel free to send in any other local legends you come across!
I really enjoy the pop-culture historical aspects that Barry gives his recordings. We need to encourage him to do a man-on-the-street interview with someone with a good and thick Bronx accent.
Thanks, I’d be a pleasure for me to send in another legend reading!
I second your words about Barry and love the idea with the man-on-the-street-interview. This would be fantastic!
I don’t know anyone who sounds like that, but I’ll put on an accent for you next time.
