I was thinking about you while recording this one – wondering, mostly, if there’s a day in Italy when folks sit out on the grass and wait for fireworks?
Well, they do not sit on the grass here, as the fireworks in my town are on the lake (so they sit on the shore), but yes, there are several firework shows here, especially during summer. I do think fireworks are one of the most beautiful things man has ever invented, for the records…

Very nice! It was odd to hear Thriller right at the start – it seems there are quite a number of things true the world over. 😉
There’s definitely something very primal, and beautiful, about fireworks.
I think they are the last bit of true magic left in this world where wonders come cheap…
