Yes, but this production featured famous Canadian actors you’ve probably never heard of! 🙂
I could definitely see it being tempting to want to jump in on the action, but, at least for my first, I was more than happy to just sit back and watch.
It was fantastic. It’s tough to tell from the picture, but they went pretty far for the retro feel; glass coke bottles on the actors’ side-tables, some tea as well, and most were smoking tobaccoless cigarettes. The band, when not playing, passed the time reading vintage magazines, or yucking it up, like any studio orchestra of the period would.
He didn’t make you call him Jello all night did he?
From the picture it looks like something that would be fun to watch. I only experience the theater through my headphones.
He didn’t make me call him Jello, but, I must admit, it was occasionally tempting to do so.
It would definitely make a great event for Relic Radio’s first convention. 🙂
I’ve seen maybe a 1/2 dozen radio recreations and I alwasy wished I could have a part. It is just a cool thing to have a part of.

Sounds like a blast! Wish we had something like that here – it’s a totally Asheville sort of thing.
