Shazam!
Hopefully you’ll barely notice, but we’ve moved!
(As indicated by the flashpulp.com listed in your address bar.)
Gentleman and raconteur, Jim, of the Relic Radio Network, was very kind in offering some of his server power to host our little dog & pony show, and, after some fussing with the clockwork monstrosity that underpins our operation, today is the day we’ve finally made the jump.
In theory all old links should work just fine, and the skinner.fm/flashpulp.com addresses should be interchangeable. There are some areas of issue: the audio player isn’t working in all instances, and youtube videos simply didn’t make it at all. We’ll have all the holes patched before long, but obviously posts related to episodes take priority over my wide-ranging collection of kitten videos.
The move allows us many new freedoms, including the likely return of items like Audioboo-ographies, and the ability to not show ads on posts unless we’re the ones profiting from them, so I’m pretty excited.
Enjoy the new digs – kick the tires, check out last night’s episode, and let us know what you think.

Congrats on the new home and new name. Jim’s internet juggernaut keeps getting bigger and bigger! Pretty soon we’ll all be working for ReliCorp.
But seriously, that was good of Jim to be so generous. I’m a bit jealous- and no, I’m not hinting that Jim should host my site! For reasons I don’t need to mention here I am not happy with it at the moment and haven’t been for awhile.
If I may add one little thing to the (I’m sure) large list of things you’re working on, is there a way to bring back the navigation that was at the bottom of each post below the comments/categories/author grid? It was amazingly convenient.
Also, is your email going to stay @skinner.fm?
Thanks! Jim has been crazy generous, both with his hardware and his time, and we certainly appreciate it. I, for one, look forward to a future that looks a lot like 1938, but with more computers.
I’ll definitely look into the navigation issue – thanks for pointing it out.
My main email address will remain skinner@skinner.fm, but we’re going to be using comments@flashpulp.com for the majority of the FP-related stuff.
Think I got it. Let me know!
That’s it!
And the biggest thing a return to 1938 will bring? More hatted men. On this I disagree with Ed Wood.
From Glen or Glenda:
“And get the hat – or better still get the receeding hairline. Men’s hats are so tight they cut off the blood flow to the head, thus cutting off the growth of hair. Seven out of ten men wear a hat, so the advertisements say. Seven out of ten men are bald.”
Agreed, I’d love to see a return to the age of the fedora – maybe Jello will start a trend.
