Thanks once more for a very entertaining show.
@ Kommissar Rex: Yes, the theme is original in English. The episode you were talking about is entitled “Amok”. During the filming they discovered that Gedeon Burkhard (here in the role of the murderer) and Reginald von Ravenhorst (as Rex) were working together very well; that’s the reason why G.Burkhard got the role of Kommissar Brandtner after Tobias Moretti (here as Kommissar Moser) left the series. The link I’ve added is the final scene of “Amok”. It’s – I’m sorry – in German, but there is not so much dialog in it 🙂

Thank you all for your kind words and your interest in Austrian culture!
Very nice! Not all that different than most shows here – handsome gentlemen pointing guns at people, or having guns pointed at them. North America doesn’t have many dog shows anymore, but I think it’s because of the huge number that were made in the 1990s.
I did mean to mention, in last night’s FC, that there’s a Canadian show that gets a lot of sentimental response from people here – it hasn’t been on TV in years, but I’d guess that most of us can still sing the theme song.
